AS WE GATHER And the angel said to her (Mary), “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus” (Luke 1:30–31). Mary’s response to this call was very simple: “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord” (Luke 1:38a). LWML Sunday calls us again to honor our God, to Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!” (Psalm 96:3) and to Serve our LORD with gladness! (Psalm 100:2 & LWML Motto) as Mary did. “In fervent gratitude for the Savior’s dying love and His blood-bought gift of redemption we dedicate ourselves to Him with all that we are and have.”
