For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

As a member congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, St. Paul's is part of a global mission to share the Gospel message of salvation in Jesus Christ.  In addition to supporting missionaries in other countries, the LC-MS also maintains universities and seminaries for the training of church workers.  It is also involved in media and publishing, making ministry resources available to congregations and schools.
St. Paul's is affiliated regionally with other churches in the Iowa District West.  Conferences, retreats, mission projects and consultations are part of the District's ministry to its member congregations and schools.

Activities: Our church, in partnership with local agencies and organizations, cooperate in responding to hunger and poverty prevalent in our community with our Cornucopia each November.

Sewing Circle

Meets 2nd & 4th Monday of the month at 9 a.m. in the church basement.
Mission: We make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, which are sent where needed in the United States and Foreign Countries.
Activities: Some of the group cut out three different sizes of squares from material either given to us or bought. The squares are sewn together and pinned around the outside, and then someone sews it together. They are collected twice a year and sent to Lutheran World Relief (or Orphan Grain Train)
