Today is our second part in three sermons on conflict. We will be looking at seven aspects of confession followed by four truths about forgiveness. Before we deal with people who we are in conflict with, we must "take the log out of our own eye before removing the speck in your brethren's eye." This requires genuine confession and receiving genuine forgiveness. Next week, we will delve deep into when to confront a person for their sin and when it is better to overlook a sin. In both cases, the goal is restoration and forgiveness.
