8/24/2025 Praise Worship Service

No one likes conflict, yet as Christians we know that "All things work together for the good of those who love God according to His purposes." Last week, we explored that before a person deals with a conflict it is important to: "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye." Matthew 7:5. We do this by confessing our sin:

1. Address everyone involved (All those whom you affected)

2. Avoid if, but, and maybe (Do not try to excuse your wrongs)

3. Admit specifically (Both attitudes and actions)

4. Acknowledge the hurt (Express sorrow for hurting someone)

5. Accept the consequences (Such as making restitution)

This week we will examine when it is appropriate to confront a fellow Christian and when it is more appropriate to overlook sin.
